After months of struggling to find a solar PV installer that would install the equipment I wanted, I finally came across J Gooch Electrical.

During the survey John was very professional, listened to my very specific needs, didn’t try to oversell or undersell and was prepared to source and install Victron & Fronius equipment which they were unfamiliar with.

After contemplating for a number of years whether to have a PV system fitted, a friend recommended the services of, J Gooch Electrical Services Ltd for the installation.
I initially obtained three competitive quotations for PV systems, asking advice of each representative of the respective companies on the best system and solution in order to meet our needs. It was refreshing to meet someone like Mr Gooch, who was not a salesman working on commission, but someone working in the trade displaying a great depth of knowledge and experience in solar technology, and who was clearly able to put me at ease, and explain and advise upon the best solution for us. Mr Gooch provided a very competitive quotation for a roof mounted PV system, Inverter, battery package, Solar iboost and EV charger, using the best quality components for which I accepted.
The whole process run very smoothly, from product information, organising installation dates, scaffolding and install and commissioning of the PV system. The system was installed in early December, and given the fact that the months either side of Christmas are the worst for solar generation, the performance of the system and yield from the PV panels has so far exceeded expectation. Can’t wait to see what I generate in the spring and summer months!
